143. SERVICES IN CARRIER CLINICS

To develop partnerships of service with our community through quality patient care, preventative health, education and support service, delivered in a caring, timely, cost effective manner; also through interdisciplinary involvement, self-evaluation, continuing education and respect at all levels; through an environment that fosters creative collaboration, honesty and integrity.

Our staff ranges from licensed/certified healthcare professionals such as Registered Nurses, Therapists, Counselors, and Teachers, and also includes many recent college graduates beginning their careers as Residential Counselors and Mental Health Technicians. Some positions require State licensure/certification or completion of a clinical training program for employment consideration, and for other positions we provide on-the-job and on-going clinical training.

Adolescent Services Carrier Clinic offers inpatient, residential and educational services to adolescents, ages 13 through 18, who suffer from emotional, psychiatric, behavioral and/or addiction illnesses. All services are provided in a healing environment with a treatment philosophy that focuses on enhancing self-esteem while providing firm and consistent behavioral guidelines .

Educational Services The East Mountain School is a co-educational school for students in grades 7 to 12. The School was established to provide students with a safe, challenging and enriching educational environment which is responsive to individual needs, supports personal growth and development, and encourages students to seek out and take advantage of opportunities to learn and change.
